Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician born in Mexico, was born to a music-loving family. As a child, she was exposed to lots of traditional music as well as older Boleros. Also, she listened to traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana is an avid fan of Tangos. Also, she loves operas as well as any theatrical performance. Ana began to learn how to sing and play music from an early age, along alongside her mother. She received more formal singing instruction at the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca in the School of Sacred Music. As a student and being a young professional at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choruses. Following her move into California in United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current residence in the southern part of California. She's a frequent solo performer at private parties and events and performs traditional Latin American Music. The passion and love she has for art, music, and performing keep her engaged with a variety of local initiatives as a performer and teacher. Ana has been a member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to sing the same.
